Cancer CRI Centre attended the AAADV Virtual Workshop from 28th Sept-1st October 2021. Our passion for cancer clinical trials from the design to their conduct had led us to dwell deep into the discussions between cancer stakeholders and US FDA through this virtual workshop.
We hope to be able to stimulate the landscape locally for more investigator-initiated clinical trials(IIT), cancer cooperative group trials, and collaborative trials with our pharmaceutical partners.
The challenges faced by low and middle-income countries in the cancer sphere are huge, and the roles that IIT and other clinical trials will play in opening up access to cancer treatment is certainly critical.
